What are Puzzle Games?

Puzzle Games ask you to spot patterns, plan moves, place pieces, or react to changing situations. In a round, you may match items to reach a goal, arrange blocks on a board, sort colors, or draw a solution that interacts with objects. Clear goals and small decisions make these games easy to start, while later challenges test your patience and problem-solving.

You can choose from match-3, point-and-click, block, physics, and sorting puzzles. In Candy Crush Saga, you swap candies to make matches and complete level objectives. Block Mania gives you colorful pieces to place on an 8x8 grid and use to complete lines. In Save The Dog, you draw barriers that become physical objects and protect a dog from bees and hazards. Water Color Sort offers a calmer task: pour liquids between tubes until each tube contains one color.

For a quick break, pick a game with clear level goals, such as a match-3 or sorting puzzle. If you want longer play, choose a block or physics puzzle that gives you more decisions per level. Touch controls suit phones and tablets, while a computer can work well when you want a larger view. Most games are for one player; when you want company, look for a title with multiplayer support.
